●The Korean Red Cross strongly requested us to continue to provide short-term training, which HICARE provides in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross. We talked about the expansion of the scope of trainees to medical technologists and nurses and the timing of the training, resulting in mutual confirmation.
●We visited hospitals that provide medical treatment to many A-bomb survivors in South Korea, as well as research institutions that play a leading role in emergency medical care for A-bomb survivors, to explain our training project. They indicated their intention to actively dispatch trainees for both short-term and long-term trainings.
●We met physicians and other medical professionals who had received HICARE training and listened to their opinions regarding their current activity situations, beneficial points of training results, and training methods. We confirmed how we should improve our training program.
●Through these activities, we confirmed that a solid network was being established between South Korean hubs for medical care for A-bomb survivors and HICARE. We recognized the need to maintain the partnership with them.
