To carry out collaborative projects under the Practical Arrangements for medical management of persons affected by radiation-exposure with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) signed in August 2010, a delegation was dispatched to the IAEA and its members held a discussion with Dr. Daud Mohamad, Deputy Director General of the IAEA.
The members also visited the World Health Organization (WHO) and other organizations in order to exchange opinions on new collaboration with international organizations.

About future collaboration and 2011 HICARE International Symposium to be held on November 23 and 24 with Dr. Daud Mohamad, the Deputy Director General of the IAEA.

4.Opinion exchange with interns
Members talked with two interns who came from Japan about the training at the IAEA and their lives there. As a result, it was decided that HICARE will continue considering introduction of an internship program.

Members exchanged opinions with Dr. Hiroki Nakatani, Assistant Director-General (ADG) and persons in charge of radiation at the Public Health and Environment Department, and held an open seminar (attended by 15 people).
(3) Other
Members visited the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and explained activities of HICARE, etc. and exchanged opinions.
