The HICARE training program was very educational and provided me with important knowledge that I plan to put into immediate use in the care of my patients, particularly in those with a history of cancer who have received radiation therapy.
Based on what I have learned from the HICARE training program I will develop lectures discussing the latest advances and research in the treatment and care of radiation-exposed individuals. I plan to convey this information to medical students, residents, and the medical staff so that they and their patients can also benefit from the knowledge I have gained.
