A-bomb Survivors Medical Support Delegation from South Korea Invited for Training

In cooperation with the Korean Red Cross, we accepted a medical delegation for radiation-exposed patients, comprising three physicians who engage in the medical care of A-bomb survivors in South Korea. They received training regarding medical treatment for radiation exposure.

Although I did not have enough knowledge in this area, I began to realize that not only Japanese people but also Korean people were exposed to radiation and that many of the Korean A-bomb survivors live in a certain area in Korea. Since I have learned about these people, I am determined to provide them with medical support hereafter.
